The Art of Giving

Service Description

This is a special class where students make gifts for special people for the holidays. Each week students will have many projects available to them to work on -making gifts for family and friends! Each child will determine who they want to give to and what they want to make and Karen facilitates the projects allowing students to work at their own pace and using their own designs. Multiple stations of recycled and new materials are available for students to choose from. Projects include but are not limited to; jewelry making, tapestries, clay sculptures, paper crafts, collage, and others based on collective interest. Students will then wrap their gifts and at the end of class have a bag of presents, all thoughtful and personalized, ready for giving!
