Our Mission

The Matunuck Elementary School PTO aims to unite our school community by supporting our teachers, staff and families through PTO-sponsored educational purchases, enrichment opportunities, and social events. The proceeds from our fundraising efforts will be used solely for the purpose that benefit all of Matunuck Elementary School students.

PTO Meetings

PTO meetings are open to all parents and teachers.   Meetings are held once a month in the school library

at 7:00 pm.

Position Opening!

Description of position: Shadow the current President for one year prior to term as President the following
school year. Assist the President with the collection, review and submission of
newsletter. Perform
other tasks as required from time-to-time. In the event of President’s absence (due to illness, vacation,
etc.), the President-Elect will fulfill the President’s duties during this time.
Terms: 2023-2025 school year (shadow for 1 year school year (2023
-2024) and become
President for 1-year term (2024-2025)
Time Commitment: attend monthly executive and PTO meetings, corresponding with other officers
and committee members, school staff throughout the year.
