Bike to School Day!

WHEN: Matunuck Elementary will celebrate ‘bike to school day’ on Friday May 7, 2021.

WHAT: Ride your bikes to school with a parent or guardian and please note masks and helmets MUST be worn at all times.  Social distancing must also be maintained when off your bike at all times.

 

WHERE:  TWO options for biking to school: (1) Meet at Green Hill park off Green Hill Beach Road at 7:45 AM.  It is about a 3-mile bike ride from this location.   OR (2) meet at Trustom Pond parking lot at 7:55 AM for a shorter ride to school for younger children.

 

WHO: Dana Mulvaney is organizing this event.  She will need parents to ride so we can ensure a safe bike ride for the children. If you are interested in riding, please text her at 858-229-7020.

 

PLEASE NOTE: Parents are responsible for getting bikes and students home from school as we will not be biking back home.  *Upon arrival at school there will be no congregation of families in front of the school.  Students will arrive and enter the front doors where temperatures will be taken*.
