Art and Soul

In this class, each child will be designing and creating their own, one-of-a-kind, multi media woven acrylic canvas. Using watercolor, acrylic paint, drawing pens and pencils the children will paint on a 9”x12” canvas. They can choose

however they wish to paint. An object, a scene or abstract, the choice is theirs.

When the canvas is complete, the next step will be creating strips of painted paper, and painted fabric to weave through their canvas. No design is wrong and the final design outcome is always a total surprise. This is such a fun

project and such a great way to just let go and create! This is a new project to the Art and Soul class. We think it will be a favorite for sure. What an awesome way to add some color to the dreary winter days!
