The 23rd Annual Matunuck School Jog-a-Thon!
The 23rd Annual Matunuck School Jog-a-Thon is coming up on Friday, October 2 (rain date: Monday, October 5)! This is our school’s one big fundraiser of the year—and one of the most fun days of the year for our students. They’ll spend time outside in front of the school, running, walking, skipping, and cheering alongside their classmates.
The money raised supports our school throughout the year, including classroom resources and improvements, teacher support, indoor and outdoor recess supplies, yearbooks, field trips, assemblies, and other special activities and events. These are the experiences students look forward to each year and the moments that often become some of their favorite school memories.
Here’s how you can get ready:
1 – Register your student(s) on mybooster.com.
Registration is quick, free, and the first step toward getting your family connected to the fundraiser. You don’t have to make a donation when you register—simply signing up helps us prepare for the event and track participation.
2 – Share your student’s donation page.
Once registered, you can easily share your student’s page with family and friends. Whether they make a flat donation or pledge an amount per lap, every gift helps support our school. Our goals this year are to raise $30,000, receive donations from 30+ states, and have 80%+ of our students registered. The more families who register and share, the more we can do for our students!
3 – Get ready to show your Superpowers!
This theme this year is Superpowers! Each classroom chose a superpower and corresponding color. Students should plan to wear their class color on Jog-a-Thon day as they represent their classroom and its superpower.
4 – Know your student’s running time.
Grades 2 & 410:00–11:00 AM
Grades 3 & 511:30 AM–12:30 PM
Grades K & 11:00–2:00 PM
On Jog-a-Thon day, students should wear comfortable clothes and running shoes, and bring a water bottle. Families are welcome to come cheer on our runners!
