Matunuck School Garden Club

Signup begins on Tuesday, May 2nd, at 7 p.m.

This is a 4 week after school program starting on Wednesday, May 10th.  We will meet on Wednesday after school and will end at 4:15. 

Third and fourth grade students will help create a growing space for vegetables and will plant the surrounding butterfly garden to attract pollinators. Students will start seedlings for the garden, plant vegetables and herbs in raised beds, and create a small herb garden planter to take home.This garden club is run by Matunuck School parent volunteers. The cost covers materials for the projects.

Class Dates: Wednesday, May 10, 17, 24, and 31 from 3:15 p.m. - 4:15 p.m. 

Cost: The cost is $30/student.  

*Some of the vegetables we plant will not be ready for harvest until summer. I am happy to send an email invite this summer for students to come help harvest. We can send produce home with families and/or donate to the Jonnycake Center in Wakefield.

PLEASE REGISTER BY Tuesday, May 9th.  Registration will close on Tuesday, May 9th at 7 p.m. and availability is on a first come first serve basis.  To register, please complete the online form.  Confirmation will be sent via email prior to the program start.
