I'm Cool With This! ~ Grades 3 - 5 (March/April 2024)

Signup begins on Sunday, March 3 at 12 Noon.

This is a 5 week after school program starting on Thursday, March 14th. We will meet on Thursdays after school and will end at 4:15.

Students will need to have comfortable clothes.

What is it about: This spring session is full of new activities to help your child  "find their calm". This session will be more yoga based with a weekly theme. Five new poses to match the week's theme will be taught each week. Other activities will include kid-friendly breathing strategies  (i.e. butterfly breath, lawnmower breath). We will be creating stories/skits that include taught yoga poses, designing an obstacle course and doing some hands-on craft type activities as well. Activities are designed to build confidence and focus and give your child a "tool kit" of relaxation strategies to pull from to manage the day to day ups and downs we all face. This session will be quite different from previous sessions. If your child enjoyed another session, I'd love to have them back! There will be little to no repetition of activities.

Class Dates: Thursdays, March 14, 21, 28, April 4 & 11~3:15-4:15  from 3:15 p.m. - 4:15 p.m.

Cost: The cost is $50/student.

Includes all materials.

Please register by Sunday, March 10th. Registration will close at 7 p.m. and availability is on a first come first serve basis. Please note there are only 10 spots for this class. To register, please complete the online form. Confirmation will be sent via email prior to the program start.
